Development Partners Mapping Tool on TVET and Youth Employment
The International Labor Organization estimates 26 percent of Kenyan youth are unemployed. Quality Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) plays an important role in training youth with skills to find or create their own employment. TVET provides students with job-ready skills and supports smooth transition from school to work for many young people.
Currently, 17 development organizations work closely with the Government of Kenya to enhance TVET and improve employment opportunities for Kenyan youth. This support ranges from building the capacity of TVET institutions (including infrastructure) developing curriculum, and training youth.
This website documents the activities of these development organizations.
