TVET Skills Delivery and Support During Covid-19 Disruption

The Mastercard Foundation COVID-19 Recovery and Resilience Program in Kenya will focus on supporting 145 Vocational Training Centers (VTC) and 32 CAP Youth Empowerment Institute (YEI) centers. The activity will enable e-learning to assist young people whose education was disrupted by the pandemic. We will work with educational organizations to help them transition to digital delivery of courses, mentoring, and student outreach. This will not only prepare learning institutions for future crises but also for the future of education.

The Learning Management System is set to be accessible by trainees in 145 public VTCs by September 2020. Currently 1750 CAP-YEI trainees can access the e-learning platform
